Employee of the Year
Granite Ledges of Concord recently announced that Stephanie Eaton, Business Office Manager for the facility, has been named Employee of the Year by the New Hampshire Association of Residential Care Homes, “Because Excellence Deserves A Standing Ovation.” It was announced at the NH-ARCH Fall Conference on Thursday, November 2, 2006. The award, granted to the person who makes a difference in the lives of the residents and other staff members, who continually demonstrates established leadership, implementation, strategic planning and the ability to enhance the environment in which she works. In essence this award honors one who goes “above and beyond the norm.” These are certainly attributes that describe Ms. Eaton.

Stephanie has been employed at Granite Ledges for six years. She is responsible for all aspects of her job classification, including, but definitely not limited to, accounts payable, account receivable, payroll, human resources, petty cash, bank deposits, subordinate staff members, and anything else that the facility puts in front of her. Stephanie has never once put herself first, planning all vacation time around any deadlines that have been established by the company for information input such as payroll, accruals, and month end. Stephanie has taken it upon herself to make sure that each and every employee within the facility gets the recognition that they deserve and we are delighted that she has been recognized for her accomplishments. Everyone at Granite Ledges is proud to have an individual like Stephanie in our midst.
